A threat made by a Long Island high school student has been deemed unfounded, according to police.

The perceived threat was allegedly made on Thursday, March 25, at Islip High School, said the Suffolk County Police.

Officers responded to the school on Friday, March 26, to conduct an investigation, which revealed that no threat was made, police said.
